Before the screening of Labor at CPH:DOX, I was invited to give a short talk and live demonstration exploring the anatomy of a BDSM scene.

I spoke about the roots and evolution of BDSM, addressed common misconceptions, and broke the practice down into three key phases: negotiation, play, and aftercare. With the help of a generous demo bottom, I led the audience through a mini-scene that brought these elements to life.

Even in just a few minutes, the warmth, connection, and mutual trust between us was tangible—an important reminder that kink, at its heart, is about care, communication, and choice.
